PLUMPED LTD wants Plumped to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
1. What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA across the plumped.co.uk website and the Plumped mobile app.
We take accessibility into account when we design and build, rather than treating it as something to fix afterwards.
2. What we have done
- The app supports the text size settings on your device, including large text.
- The app and website support screen readers, VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android.
- Interactive elements have accessible labels.
- We aim for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for normal text.
- The website can be navigated with a keyboard alone.
- We respect the reduced motion setting on your device.
- Important information is never conveyed by colour alone.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are described in text.
3. Known limitations
We are honest about where we fall short.
- Skin analysis needs a camera. The core scan requires you to take a photograph of your own face, which will not be possible for everyone. You can build a full skin profile by answering questions instead, and the routine engine works the same way from a manually entered profile.
- Framing guidance during a scan is visual. We are adding audio guidance for framing and lighting.
- Progress timeline comparison is visual. Attribute scores are available as text and are read correctly by screen readers, and we are improving how the image comparison is described.
- Some third-party content is outside our control. Retailer pages we link to are not ours and we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
- Some older screens have not been fully audited. We are working through them.
4. Feedback
If you find something you cannot use, please tell us. It is the fastest way for us to fix it.

Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you use if any.
We aim to reply within 5 working days. If you ask us for information in an alternative format, we will provide it or explain why we cannot.
5. If you are not happy with our response
In the United Kingdom, the Equality Act 2010 requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments. If you are not satisfied with how we have responded, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
In the European Union, the European Accessibility Act applies to certain consumer services. You may contact the national enforcement authority in your country.
6. How we test
We test with:
- automated accessibility checks in our build process;
- manual keyboard-only navigation;
- VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android;
- device text size and contrast settings at their maximum.
We have not yet commissioned an independent third-party audit. We intend to, and we will update this statement when we have.
7. Status of this statement
This statement was prepared on 16 September 2026 and reflects our own assessment. We review it at least once a year and whenever we make a significant change to the Service.
