Subscription, Billing and Refunds

Plumped is free today. These are the terms that will apply if that changes, published in advance so nothing arrives as a surprise.

Last updated: 16 September 2026

Status: Plumped is currently free. There are no paid plans and no charges. This page is published in advance so you can see the terms before anything changes. We will not charge anyone without telling them first and obtaining their agreement to the price.

Items marked To be confirmed will be completed before paid plans launch.

These terms form part of the Terms of Service.

1. Plans

PlanPriceBilling periodWhat it includes
Free£0n/aTo be confirmed
Plan nameTo be confirmedMonthlyTo be confirmed
Plan nameTo be confirmedAnnualTo be confirmed

Prices include VAT where applicable. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, with no hidden fees added afterwards.

If you are outside the United Kingdom, the app store may show the price in your local currency and apply local tax.

2. How you pay

Payments are taken through the app store you downloaded Plumped from.

StoreMerchant of record
Apple App StoreApple Distribution International Ltd
Google PlayGoogle Commerce Ltd, or the local Google entity

This means Apple or Google takes the payment, holds your card details, issues your receipt, and handles refunds. We never see or store your payment card details.

If we ever offer payment directly on plumped.co.uk, we will update this page and name the payment provider.

3. Free trials

If we offer a free trial:

  • we will tell you the length of the trial, the price after it, and the date the first charge falls due, before you start;
  • you can cancel at any time during the trial and pay nothing;
  • if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and you will be charged;
  • you get one trial per person, not one per account.

Trial terms to be confirmed

4. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.

  • You will be charged the then-current price at the start of each new period.
  • Apple and Google send renewal reminders in line with their own policies. We will also email you before an annual subscription renews.
  • If a payment fails, the store will retry. If it keeps failing, your paid features will be paused.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate a partial period unless the law requires it or unless section 7 applies.

Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or your data. To delete those, see Your Data Rights.

On iPhone or iPad

Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions, Plumped, Cancel Subscription.

On Android

Google Play Store, profile icon, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Plumped, Cancel.

Cannot find it

Email contact@plumped.co.uk and we will walk you through it. We will not try to talk you out of cancelling.

6. Your right to cancel under consumer law

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day you enter the contract to change your mind and get a refund. Consumers in the European Union have an equivalent right under national law implementing the Consumer Rights Directive.

Important exception for digital content. If you ask for immediate access to paid features and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once access begins, the 14-day right ends at that point. We will present that acknowledgement clearly at checkout as a separate tick box. It will never be pre-ticked.

To exercise the right to cancel, email contact@plumped.co.uk. You may use the model cancellation form in section 11, though you do not have to.

7. Refunds

Through the app store

Because Apple and Google are the merchant of record, refunds are requested from them.

  • Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Google: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

From us

Contact us at contact@plumped.co.uk and we will support your request and, where we can, refund you directly. We will normally refund where:

  • you were charged after cancelling;
  • you were charged twice for the same period;
  • a paid feature was unavailable for a significant part of the period you paid for;
  • you were charged at the end of a trial having had no reasonable opportunity to cancel;
  • you cancelled within the statutory 14 days and had not waived the right;
  • we materially changed or withdrew a feature you were paying for.

Refunds are made to the original payment method. Apple and Google timings apply, usually 5 to 10 working days.

Your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a price reduction. Nothing on this page limits those rights.

8. Price changes

If we change the price of a plan you are on:

  • we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email;
  • the new price applies from your next renewal, never mid-period;
  • you can cancel before it takes effect and pay nothing more;
  • if you do not cancel, the new price applies.

9. Changes to what a plan includes

If we remove a feature that is a material part of your plan, we will tell you in advance and give you the option to cancel and receive a pro-rated refund for the unused part of your period.

10. Upcoming change in UK law

The UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 introduces a new regime for subscription contracts, expected to come into force in Spring 2027. It will add requirements around pre-contract information, reminder notices before renewal, cooling-off periods and exit routes.

We will update this page before that regime applies. Where our current practice already goes further than the law requires, we will keep it.

11. Model cancellation form

You may use this form to cancel, but you do not have to. Any clear statement will do.
